New publication reveals links between nanoscale and macroscale

The team on the metrology project ‘Nanowires’ NanoWires | EMPIR Project has been working on ways to characterise the nanoscale through to the macroscale properties of nanowire energy harvesting materials. How to characterise on the nanoscale and what that data tells us about the macroscopic performance of real device scales is featured in our new paper, just published. PDF here.

It’s been a great collaboration that extends well beyond the end of the EU / EURAMET funded project. The development of novel processing methods and robust measurement methods has been the focus of the work, and this will help others in developing their own nano to macroscale energy harvesting technologies. ⚡ 💡 🔬
